An extremely limited-edition supercar LaFerrari is going to arrive in Philippines ordered by a Filipino politician from the North. This is the newest Ferrari model and dubbed as the most ambitious road car project.

One of the world's largest luxury sports car brand, Ferrari, will soon deliver its limited edition super car Laferrari to the Philippines, owned by a Filipino politician from the North.

LaFerrari is known to be the most ambitious road car project with an estimated selling price of $1.69 million or roughly P76 million excluding shipping fee and taxes. It has a hybrid 6.3-liter (6262cc) V12 Internal Combustion Engine that can accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h in less than 7 seconds. Check the more detailed specifications here.

On November 19, Inquirer.net published an article about this government official from Luzon buying an ambitious sports car that is very limited in production with only 499 units in total.
The Aquino administration has used the influx of ultra-luxury car brands into the country—among them the Bentley and the Rolls-Royce and exotic cars such as Lamborghinis and Maseratis—as a concrete validation of the country’s rising economic status.

So how will the spin masters in MalacaƱang take the news that a Filipino is one of a few lucky individuals able to snag one of only 499 LaFerraris built by the prancing horse carmaker?M
-quoted from Inquirer.

Laferrari was first publicised during the Geneva Auto Show in 2013 and it was considered as the company's first supercar after the Enzo Ferrari 12 years ago.

Ordinary people most likely can't afford this super car not only because of the humungous price tag but also a requirement of owning at least five Ferrari vehicles is needed before purchasing this limited edition LaFerrari.

The buyer from the Philippines is not a businessman, not a billionaire but a powerful politician from the North.

This news built wild speculations within the netizens, throwing wild guesses about the personality of this lucky owner of the latest Ferrari model. Some of them brought up some surnames from well known families in the government such as Singson, Marcoses, Enriles, and even Aquinos.
