Korean guy pays for homeless old woman's meal and dines with her

No matter how bad the world may seem today, kind people are still everywhere.

Surely most of us look forward to positive changes because we see homeless people on the street begging for food. There are even more and more children knocking on our windows. Deep inside we wish we could do something. A simple smile or kind gesture does a lot, however most of the time we end up hesitating and just prefer not to. Who's not guilty here?

A few days ago, a netizen shared a very touching story she spotted while dining at KFC upper Session Road in Baguio City. According to her, she and her roommate were waiting for their turn to order at the counter when they saw an old woman who was obviously poor and homeless placing her order, too. The cashier asked the old woman for her order with no discrimination one bit whether she had any money to pay for her order though she seemed not to have enough cash.

At that time, there was also a Korean guy who had already finished placing his order. When the cashier told the old woman her order totaled P100, the Korean guy quickly grabbed his wallet and handed out P500. He gave it to the cashier to pay for the old woman's meal.

Moved and touched by what the netizen just witnessed, she tapped the guy's shoulder and said, "May God bless you even more Kuya!" What surprised the netizen more was the Korean guy shared a table with the old lady later. He's such a genuine kind-hearted person. He didn't even mind the woman's appearance, but willingly helped and befriended her.

Inspired by this simple act of kindness, this netizen, whose name is Hillary Lee Aguada, shared this photo of the two dining together on her Facebook account.

This photo of a man dining with a homeless old woman goes viral and receives a lot of positive feedback.

Most of them say that this is such an inspiring story and are very thankful for sharing this wonderful moment of kindness. They also say that it's God's way of providing His children what they need. Some people who commented on this photo said that they wish our leaders' heart and mind would be like his. Someone even said that he wanted to give the Korean guy a hug and felt ashamed because instead of us, the old woman's fellow citizen, supposed to help her, the help she received was actually from another nationality. It's a bit saddening, he said.

Aguada, who shared the photo online, is very grateful to everyone who shared and spread God's goodness. She also said that His love is overflowing now.
