This is a warning to all car owners out there, especially to women.

There's new modus operandi on the road wherein criminals slash the tires of your car.

A netizen shared her story on Facebook. On her post, she talked about this dangerous time on how she and her friend experienced this modus.

She shared her experience online to warn her friends and everyone who usually drive at night.

According to this netizen, who almost got victimized by this new modus operandi on the road, it was technically then past 1am of Aug. 17, when she and her friend came from a late night dinner with their other friends. She and one of her friends had to pick up her car in front of an establishment in Timog to go home. As they reached and stopped on red light at Timog-West Ave. intersection, she noticed a black dusty car beside them with their both windows rolled down, and the driver heavily stared at them. She said that she was then very busy chatting and catching up with her friend, so she just stared back mindlessly until she realized how scary the driver looked and she told her friend about it. Then, the green light came on, she drove to Quezon Ave., as she was driving, she suddenly noticed that something's wrong with her car. She felt unsteady as she drove at 80-90 kph. It was noisy and almost hard to control the steering wheel, she said. They were at the Quezon Ave., so she couldn't just suddenly stop their car because other cars really went fast. That time, there was also a car behind them, tailgating, shifting his lights to bright. She thought he just wanted to overtake, so she didn't mind it. She slowed down gradually and by the time they reached Araneta underpass, she decided to stop. She realized it would be pointless so they proceeded to the nearest gas station instead. They found Unioil and got off the car. Then, she found that one of the tires with multiple stabs. She said that she wasn't really bothered honestly because she thought that it was just one of her unlucky days. She thought some crazy men just passed by and took insanity out on the tire while it was parked. So she had a good friend came to help them. Her friend brought tools and changed the tire. They were able to go home at around 3am.

She showed this photo to one of her friends. Her friend shared a link of an article with the same photo and it's about a modus operandi in the south. In the post, the girl's tire was also slashed at a stoplight, like hers. It didn't sink right away. After seeing the article, she realized that they almost got victimized. They were creepy men in black car who slashed off the tire while they were at the stoplight. They tried to bait them to get off the car in a dark alley. She couldn't imagine what might happen next.

She also said that it's just messed up how they got to that point. She told on her post that it's not completely safe even in their own house, in their own car, or anywhere else for that matter. She only hopes that this incident makes everyone aware that these malevolent people are becoming creative, resourceful. These vicious men won't even care if their victims lose their lives when they got into an accident.

Her post garnered comments and opinions from other netizens thanking her for sharing it. Some of them also had the same experience like hers. They said that it's no longer safe to go out at night,so they'd just better do it earlier than usual.
