According to Habana, his friend rode a taxi on his way to Ninoy Aquino International Airport to catch his international flight. His suspicion rose when he noticed that the taxi driver slipped something in his baggage. His friend sensed something was not right, so he texted Habana right away who then instructed him to stop by his boarding house.
Upon their arrival, Habana confronted the taxi driver who acted outrageous against the allegation. They started to inspect his friend's baggage only to find a .38 caliber bullet inside. Not wanting to miss his flight, the friend rode a different taxi to the airport while Habana himself alerted the local authority and LTFRB about the situation.

Along with the story, he also posted photos that showed the plate number of the taxi and the actual bullet used.

People suspected that the taxi driver is part of the 'tanim bala' scam and has a connection inside the airport to frame the poor victims that will fall for their deceit.

Lately, NAIA has been infamous for the controversial 'tanim bala' modus of some of their personnels. This carefully planned scam consists of planting a bullet in the unsuspecting person's baggage, only to be discovered later when the baggage is put in the scanner.

To avoid delays on their flight, the unfortunate victim is forced to bribe certain amount of money to the NAIA personnels who were behind the modus. Most personnels who did this take advantage of the situation to ask for more money from the victim.

Incidents like these do happen, but one can prevent them by being careful and alert. Share this to spread the message across and warn others about this.
