A concerned citizen warns the public about possible terrorist attack in the country during the APEC Summit.

MANILA, Philippines-- After claiming responsibility for the terror attack in Paris which took away lives of not less than 160 civilians, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) leaked information that their next possible target will be Philippines.

The extremist group based in Mindanao released a video warning people about their terror attack that might take place during the four-day Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit 2015. Since Philippines will be hosting this event, this makes our country vulnerable to security threats.

Important world leaders including United States President Barack Obama will be attending the summit that will be held in Pasay City; an opportunity that opens the possibility to make our country be ISIS' next target to launch another terror attack.

In the viral video, ISIS addressed their message to President Benigno Aquino and threatens that they will commit terror attacks as a form of reprisal for oppressing their religion.

A certain Abu Anas from the video revealed their plans of using explosives and suicide bombers while stressing that they are not afraid to sacrifice their life in order to pursue their mission. Abu Anas stated:

Ang pagmamahal namin sa kamatayan ay sobra pa sa pagmamahal ninyo sa inyong buhay. (Our love for death surpasses your love for living.)

The veracity of the video is still unconfirmed and the original uploader remains unknown. However, authorities continue to tighten the security measures in order to maintain peace amidst the summit.

On the other hand, a concerned citizen from Facebook posted precautionary measures for everybody in case terror attack happens. The netizen who posted the photos clarified that her intention is not to cause mass panic but to inform others.

Vulnerable ang Pilipinas ngayon sa ISIS at terrorist attacks dahil na rin sa APEC. Pakibasa po ng maayos and inform your family members. Prepare for the worst, and pray for the best.
