A public utility vehicle driver and his drunk passenger were having an interesting conversation...until the passenger asks something unexpected at the end that will blow your mind.
If you're still skeptic, let this video convince you that the most interesting conversations happen unexpectedly. This footage was taken inside an FX when a passenger was listening to the intriguing discussion between the driver and a drunk male passenger. We know for a fact that most public utility vehicle drivers in the country often talk about random things to their passengers, and politics is never out of their subjects. This particular driver tackles different issues about the government which will make you question and think.
The driver and the drunk passenger infront is just having a normal conversation about politics, policemen and anything that is to talk about the government. But something happened at the end that blew my mind off.. 😎 #worthyourtime #justsharingPosted by Jessie Valdez Iglesias on Saturday, January 2, 2016
You can tell from the driver's tone that he is really absorbed in their conversation, but all the seriousness in the atmosphere vanished into thin air as the drunk passenger asked an out of the blue question. In the middle of their discussion, the drunk passenger innocently asks if he has already paid his fare. His unexpected question made laughter from other listening passengers errupted inside the vehicle.
The video was shared on social media by Facebook user Jessie Valdez Iglesias last January 3 along with the caption:
"The driver and the drunk passenger in front is just having a normal conversation about politics, policemen and anything that is to talk about the government. But something happened at the end that blew my mind off."
Soon enough, the said clip spread like wildfire among the netizens in Facebook. As of writing this, the video has already received more than 1.2 million views. The driver's point triggered discussions about the current state of politics in the Philippines, and it will really make you question the government's capability in delivering the revered and promised "daang matuwid".
Despite of its humorous ending, the video still reflects a serious subject regarding the society. The driver mentioned the controversial 'laglag-bala' scheme in Ninoy Aquino International Airport which created a buzz internationally, but remains unresolved up until now. The culprits of this scheme, which authorities believed to be a syndicate are still not caught nor even revealed. This issue smells like another forgotten controversy.
