Robin Padilla, a vocal supporter of Pacman’s candidacy, stood behind Pacquiao even he had a different opinion on homosexual relationship.
“My senator, public service is not selective. Protect those who are few, poor and weak. Religion has nothing to do with it or around it. My support to you will not change I still believe in your heart. Listen to it and trust it always. It will never mislead a HERO,” said in an Instagram post.
However, his brother (or sister?) BB Gandanghari is angry on Pacquaio’s statement comparing homosexuals to animals.
The former Rustom Padilla said, “To Manny Paquiao, all gays in the world did nothing but to love and support you. Ganyan ka ba mag pasalamat? Nilait at pinababa niya ang tingin sa mga katulad namin. tandaan nyo ang isang pagkakamali ay pwedeng maituwid pero ang maling paniniwala at diskriminasyon ay mahirap baguhin…Walang perpekto sa mundo pero sana wag na nating ipagtanggol ang kagaya niya.”
DJ Mo Twister and pop rock singer Yeng Constantino also say their opinion in the issue.
The straightforward DJ said, “Dear Manny, I think I liked you more when you were a womanizer. “I again watched Manny’s homophobic and bigoted interview comparing animals and homosexuals – and I think I just got dumber,” say ni Mo.
However, Constantino is emotional on a video she have posted, as a known Christian, he voiced out that religion does not matter on this issue.
