UP graduate discriminated by RCBC guards

She was treated unfairly by the guards of RCBC because of her tattoos.

A post of a tattooed woman went viral because of her rant against RCBC security guards who discriminated her because of her appearance.

Facebook page Think Ink shared her story, stating that the woman is a graduate f the University of the Philippines and she was stopped by the security guards of RCBC Naga branch  twice because of her tattoos.

"This security guard stopped me twice from entering their bank and that was foul. 1st attempt to enter, he questioned me if I have money. Hmm. in the first place I was asking if I can open an account and do online transfer so it's self-explanatory," the unidentified woman said.

She told the guard that she had money but another guard stopped her from entering the bank.

"To my surprise when I tried to enter for the 2nd time he stopped the guard that holds the door from opening then ask about my id's with unsure face while staring at my inks," she said.

The guards were obviously skeptical of her because of her tattoos.

"Yes kuya! May ID ako, me passport ako, me PRC ako lisensya ko 'yun kuya teacher ako..UP grad ako baka need mo diploma..ano pa kuya? Grabe ka kuya ha makapanghusga ka ng tao..tandaan nyo yang ginawa nyo!" she concluded the argument.

She stated on her post that some people might judge her because of her appearance but that will not bother her everyday life.

"So this is my open message to everyone. Yes, I have a lot of tattoos but I am not a troublemaker. People always gave people label in the way they look and even in everything we do. Just go ahead and let them create labels because I don't give a f***. Come and judge me but make sure you have better credentials than I am. Anyway it is still nice to be back in my hometown Naga City for good and yes I am still staying and will be continuing whatever mission I am destined to do," she wrote.

Meanwhile, RCBC Naga branch has still not addressed this complaint.
