The Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up posed nude for an international calendar.

Janine Tugonon, Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up posed completely without clothes in a photoshoot for the calendar of Nu Muses in the Dominican Republic.

Photos of Tugonon's behind-the-scenes during the photoshoot were uploaded online on Monday and everyone are shocked about it, seeing her fully naked.

The theme of the project celebrates the "uncensored beauty of the naked body" and Nu Muses was established by Treats magazine Steve Shaw and celebrity photographer David Bellemere.

In an interview earlier with Tugonon, she explained why she decided to join the worldwide model search.

"I flew to the US from Philippines with a dream. I wanted to aim higher, to be globally known and excellent in this industry (modeling and acting)," she said.

"Being in this calendar is a huge opportunity to showcase my beauty and personality, a great exposure for me and hopefully will be the beginning of a long lasting successful career in this field I'm very passionate about," she added.
