Robbery in restaurant caught on Facebook Live


Two friends were going live on Facebook when a thief robbed them.

On Wednesday, November 16, a restaurant in Quezon City was robbed by a man. The crime was both caught on CCTV and Facebook Live.

Joel and Joyce, two friends eating in the restaurant, was livestreaming themselves after they have eaten their breakfast. A man came into the establishment and disguised as a customer.

The man lurked and observed the restaurant first and then suddenly grabbed the cellphone of the two. Their Facebook livestreaming session was still ongoing as they were threatened by the robber and everyone watching the video witnessed the incident.

"'Wag kang gagalaw ha, 'wag kang gagalaw. Babarilin kita!" the robber warned.

Aside from their phones, the thief also stole their other belongings - wallets with P5000 and a laptop.

After he got what he wanted, he immediately rode a motorcycle that was driven by his accomplice.

During an interview with ABS CBN, Joel and Joyce  expressed their horror from the incident and said that there friends called 911 as they have seen the incident through Facebook Live.
