Woman's head discovered at a creek

A chopped off head of a woman was discovered floating at a creek in Makati City.

Few days ago, a headless body of a woman was found in one of the quiet streets in Bulacan, Philippines. Then on Saturday, a head of a woman was discovered floating at a creek in Makati City.

The one who found the dismembered head was Rodel Drece, a construction worker who was on his duty at the boundary between Barangays Pitogo and Pinagkaisahan. He spotted it there on Saturday at around 1 PM.

Drece initially thought that the head was only a part of a mannequin but as he closely looked at it, he realized that it was indeed a part of a human body for he saw blood on the neck part. He quickly called for the local authorities for them to investigate.

The police arrived immediately and put the head inside a sack before getting it out of the water. According to initial investigations, the head was only thrown that same day as it didn't seem to have been soaked in the water for a long time.

The authorities are now working on the incident to learn if the headless body found last week and the head found on Saturday belong to he same female victim.
